About

I’m a designer and a craftsperson, with a passion for making good looking, intuitive interfaces that solve problems and make life a little easier for people. I became interested in how people interact with interfaces and the internet at Sarah Lawrence College. While I was a student, I took courses in computer science, fine art and nonfiction writing, while working in the computer lab to help pay for my tuition.

After graduation, I worked as a front end developer and web designer, and eventually moved into UX design. My liberal arts background, and my experiences as a developer, then designer at a small, dynamic agency have proven my strengths as a communicator and problem solver. Along the way, I’ve learned to ask questions about why things are the way they are, talk through ideas, and take risks that might lead to different ways of solving big, interesting problems.

I love being outside in quiet places in nature, cooking great food (or at least attempting to), brutalist architecture, dance, and fiber arts like macrame and weaving.
